Husbandry

Oceanic represent and provide many foreign shipowners with a focussed and dedicated “husbandry” service, on a nationwide basis.

We provide this service to owners of liner vessels, log ships, bulk carriers, general cargo ships and more, to look after those aspects not often covered by general port agency, including:

• Coordination of spare parts deliveries
• Crew changes
• Hold cleaning procedures in preparation for following cargoes
• Ship repairs
• Arrangement of class and flag state inspections

When required we also provide vessels undergoing the sale and purchase process with a professional service – particularly being able to look after legal and statutory aspects, often meeting more complex intermediary and legal matters.
